Viet Nam News:
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has visited the hospital where a group of Vietnamese tourists are being treated after a roadside bomb killed four people, including three Vietnamese.

A Vietnamese News Agency correspondent in Cairo said the group was on a tour operated by HCM City-based Saigontourist.

It is believed the group were on their way to a show at the pyramids when the bomb was detonated.

Survivor Lê Thị Ngọc Lan, 41, told Reuters: “We were going to the sound and light show and then suddenly we heard a bomb. It was terrible, people were screaming.

“I don’t remember anything after that.”

Late on Friday Egyptian PM Madbouli visited Al Haram Hospital where the injured are being cared for.

He said Egyptian officials have been in contact with the Vietnamese Embassy, and the Egyptian tourism minister would meet with the Vietnamese Ambassador in Cairo soon.

The PM emphasised medical assistance for the tourists as the most important thing right now.
