EGX fluctuated on Thursday, EGX30 tohover around 13750pts

The Egyptian Stock Exchange ended Thursday's trades on a mixed note amid heavy purchases led by Egyptians and Arabs.
EGX30 rose by 0.46 percent to 13264pts, EGX50 by 0.33 percent to 2176pts and EGX20 by 0.52 percent to 13344pts, but EGX70 fell by 0.52 percent to 694pts and the broader EGX100 by 0.52 percent to 1730pts.
Stocks transactions reached EGP761bn, as Egyptian, Arab and foreigners bought stocks worth EGP17.5mln, EGP5.3mln and EGP3.2mln respectively.
Egyptians, Arabs and foreign Arab corporations sold stocks worth EGP10.7mlnll, EGP936k and EG014.4mln respectively.
EGX ended transactions in the green, as 79, out of 172 stocks rose, 55 shares fell and 38 shares remained unchanged.
Samah Gharib, head of technical analysis at Roots Securities, referred to dipping trades volume attributing the decline to absence of foreign traders owing to christmas holidays.
" I predict EGX30 to move toward 13400pts then to 13500pts, as staying above this level pushes the benchmark index to hover around 13750pts," said he.
