EGPC aims to drill new 38 wells

The Egyptian General Petroleum Company (EGPC) Chairman Eng. Nabil Abdel Sadeq said that the company aims to implement the largest plan in its history to maximize reserves and increase production in order to reach daily rates of production from its fields, estimated at more than 79 thousand barrels per day of crude oil,  condensates and gas.


Abdel Sadeq added that the plan will be based on several main axes, foremost of which is the implementation of a work program to dig 38 new wells as well as the completion of another 13 in the company’s concession, as well as the drilling of 19 wells and repairing 15 others in the areas where working are done with international companies in accordance with exploration and development services agreements.
