The 'Egyps 2019' oil trade conference, "the most important" in the oil and gas sector in northern Africa and the Mediterranean, will begin in Cairo next Monday for three days, according to sources.

The annual conference, now in its 3rd edition, will see the participation of about 400 companies and approximately 200 experts in 10 "strategic appointments" and 54 roundtable meetings. There will be 13 pavilions representing major oil companies.
Oil Minister Tarek El Molla said participation in this year's event has increased.

The event will be a showcase for "investment opportunities in the oil sector", in particular with regard to new opportunities in the fields of "prospecting, production, refining, distribution, and promotion".
Petroleum Show is an event that illustrates government representatives, key project owners, NOCs and IOCs, international service providers, EPC contractors, consultants and financiers to address the evolving opportunities in the energy arena.
