NAS opens luxury passenger lounge at Cairo International Airport

Ground handler and service provider National Aviation Services (NAS) has inaugurated its common-use Pearl Lounge in Terminal 2 (T2) at Cairo International Airport, Egypt.

The Pearl Lounge covers an area of 540m² (5,800ft²) and provides comfortable and luxurious surroundings to enjoy ahead of departure. Guests have complimentary access to tablet PCs, high-speed wi-fi, charging points, a children’s entertainment area and selection of food and beverages.

The Pearl Lounge at Cairo Airport is the fifth NAS lounge in Egypt, with two each at Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam airports. NAS also provides Meet and Assist services that enable passengers to negotiate airport queues faster.

Ahab Abd Elaziz, general manager, NAS Egypt, said, “Cairo International Airport is the busiest in Egypt and the second busiest in Africa, with a total capacity of 30 million passengers annually.
