The Egyptian British Co. for Chemicals & Auxiliaries is considering  setting up a new factory for cosmetics, shampoo and skin-care products over 5,000 sqm at  self-financed EGP100mln costs.
"The new factory debuts EBCA's projects in the area of manufacturing end-user products," said chief executive of deputy general director at EBCA Ahmed Abd El-Hai, adding that the company is considering building the project in the 6th of October City.
EBCA plans to buy locally-manufactured production lines for  the new factory via self-funded resources. Additionally, the company has finalized the construction of a chemicals plant at EGP200mln investments, as its production lines are slated to be imported from Germany, India, China and England.
With it already posting USD10mln  exports per year, EBCA seeks to double the exports to USD20mln this year end on the backdrop of inaugurating three new markets in Africa and an Asian country.
EBCA focuses on selling 60% of output in the local market and exporting the remaining output to 14 countries nationwide, he explained.
Primary  financial indicators suggest a 70% growth in profits and revenues owing to local companies' propensity to buy the company's products at the expense of imported goods.
EBCA, a family company established in 1988, became operational in 1992 and seeks to become a joint stock company.
On the basis of patent-based scientific researches, EBCA is manufacturing chemicals and has 5 laboratories for  researches and development, a teamwork of  junior scientists, two factories in the 6th of October City over 12,000 sqm and 65000sqm as well as external warehouses
