EGX30 edged up on Thursday on heavy purchases led by Egyptians

The Egyptian Stock Exchange ended Thursday's trades on an up note amid heavy purchases led by Egyptians and Arabs.
EGX30 rose by 0.14 percent to 14632pts, EGX70 by 0.43 percent to 698pts, the broader EGX100 by 0.17 percent to 1784pts and EGX20 by 0.06percent to 14172pts,  while EGX50 fell by 0.38 percent to 2271pts.
Stock transactions were valued at EGP1.9bn, as Egyptian, Arab corporations, Egyptians, Arabs and foreigners bought stocks worth EGP85mln, EGP176.9mln, EGX179.1mln, EGP73.5mln and EGP12.7mln respectively, whereas foreign corporations sold stocks worth EGP527.3mln.
Out of 173 stocks, 58 rose, 75 fell and 40 remained unchanged.
